Three IWCA AC runners achieved personal best times at today's Parkrun at Cutteslowe Park.
Woodstock Harrier, Peter Brackett, who runs for the IWCA at Parkrun, continues to excel, crossing the line in 12th place in a very competitive field of runners with a superb time of 18:52, earning an age grading in the Veteran Male 55 - 59 age group of 82.86% and the top spot in the IWCA Athletics Club table, 19 seconds above 15 year old dynamo Andrew Craft.
Peter Wright broke his hard won PB by a remarkable 33 seconds finishing in 18th place with a time of 19:49.
Isobel Craft knocked 1min 59 off her previous PB coming in 138th place in 33 minutes - a time she has promised to beat convincingly within two weeks!
Veterans, Stuart Craft, Simon O'Keefe and David Troth (making his first Parkrun appearance in 2 and a half years after fighting back from ill health and injury) also put in respectable performances coming in 28th, 64th and 76th places respectively with times of 20:45, 23:37 and 24:33. Graça Craft, who ran alongside Isobel to kick her arse, came in at 32:55.
Next week Stuart, Peter and Isobel will be on Parkrun marshalling duties at Cutteslowe Park, hopefully to witness a few more PB's from our young runners.
